Did you know that if a fire starts in your home you may have as little as two to six minutes to escape? During a fire, early warning from a working smoke alarm plus a fire escape plan that has been practiced regularly can save lives. Learn what else to do to keep your loved ones safe!

Talk with all family members about a Fire Escape Plan and practice the plan twice a year.

If a fire occurs in your home, GET OUT, STAY OUT and CALL FOR HELP. Never go back inside for anything or anyone.

Fire Fighting

Dedicated Members respond to an average of 300 calls for service per year for the citizens of North Raeford Fire District and Mutual Aid area.

Training

With In-House Training and Certified Classes through Local Community Colleges, YOU can gain the Training needed to become a Firefighter! Station Training is held 1st, 2nd and 3rd Monday Nights at the station and various times at other locations throughout the year.

Community Safety

Through Community Outreach, Participation in County Functions and Social Media, NRFD focuses on Community Safety through Education and Awareness.

Rescue Services

Although NRFD is not chartered for Rescue specifically, we Cross-Train with Hoke County Rescue and can provide information on Rescue Training.

Fire Investigation

As Hoke County moves in the direction of Fire Investigation by individual departments, this area will be improved. We work with Fire Marshall's Office on Fire investigations.

The North Raeford Fire Department is an All Volunteer Community of Firefighters and other workers Proudly Serving the Hoke County District 4 Community.

YOUR Community Fire Department

The North Raeford Fire Department, Station 4, provides Fire Services for the North Raeford Fire District.  With the Fire District being centrally located around the Town of Raeford, NRFD provides Mutual Aid for stations 1, 3, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9 and 10.

Station and Certified Training

NRFD Members are provided MANY opportunities to gain training in Firefighting Skills and Certifications.  Bi-Weekly In-Station Training is conducted to keep members current and proficient on Basic Tasks.  Certified Training is conducted at various locations, i.e. SCC, RCC, Hoke High School (through SCC) and various stations through out the year.  This training is at NO COST to the Active Member.
